Dr Danielle Shbero, C Psychol, Clin Psych D.

Hello, my name is Danielle Shbero. I am a Registered Clinical Psychologist with the HCPC (Health & Care Professional Council) and a Chartered Clinical Psychologist with the BPS (British Psychological Society). I have over 17 years experience of working in a variety of NHS services in addition to a number of years working privately. I currently work part time as a Senior Clinical Psychologist within the NHS in addition to my private practice.

I can provide comprehensive assessments and treatment for a range of emotional, behavioural and mental health difficulties. My specialism is working with children and their families. I have a great deal of experience working with children in foster care and adoptive families. In addition, I have experience working in generic adult mental health services as well as with individuals with personality disorders and substance misuse problems. I have a particular interest in trauma-based treatments for children and young people as well as emotion regulation work which I find has been beneficial to all those I work with.

For the past 5 years I have also provided a significant amount of consultation and training to schools and can provide bespoke work within this area.

My qualifications include:

  • Doctorate in Clinical Psychology; University of Surrey
  • BSc (Hons) Psychology; University of Birmingham
  • Post doctoral: Foundation in Systemic Family Therapy
  • Post doctoral: Post Graduate Certificate in CYP IAPT Supervision
